Puch Maxi “Day Trip” 7 Hours

Experience the amazing beauty of Fjordlandet with our Puch Maxi “Day Trip” in 7 hours with complete freedom - on your own!

This unique excursion takes you back in time and allows you to explore the picturesque countryside and charming villages up close.

You start by selecting a leather helmet as well as any driving glasses/leather vest, after which we introduce you to our local map of the area. After that, you have to bond with your very own Puch Maxi from the 70s and get a brief introduction to it before you are ready to embark on your adventurous journey. On two wheels you can drive along the coast, enjoy the colorful fields and stop at local farm shops and sights along the way.

Our day trip includes one hour ticket for the tow ferry at Hammerbakke to the idyllic island of Orø!

Orø is located in the Isefjord and characterizes the fresh air, the water and the silence. Here you can experience local crafts, taste fresh produce and become part of the island's cozy atmosphere. We love Orø, and recommend having a good lunch on the island at either Bings or Orø inn, after which you can visit Orøstrand Animal Park or Strandcampingen.

Whether you are alone, on a romantic trip with your partner, or gathered with friends, colleagues or family, this day trip is designed to create unforgettable moments and strengthen the bonds between you.

What's included

  • 1 piece of optional Puch Maxi moped with milk crate

  • Full tank of environmental gasoline (about 100 km)

  • Liability insurance

  • Recommendations for good places to bathe or fish

Practical information

  • Please show up 15 minutes before departure

  • Max weight: 120 kg

  • Age 18+ (unless you arrive as a family)

  • Remember practical clothes and footwear. There are boxes on the majority of our mopeds.

  • You are not allowed to drive drunk - and you must follow the rules of cycling

  • You must have a valid proof for moped, motorcycle, car or age 30+

  • All participants should have accident insurance in the event of an accident

  • Various merchandise and clothing can be purchased upon arrival

  • Note: We have limited access to toilet facilities on the farm

Crown Prince Frederiks Bro closes to car traffic for three months after summer holiday

If you are going to visit Puchtours Moped Rental in Jægerspris during the period 1 August — 31 October 2026, please be aware that Crown Prince Frederiks Bridge from Frederikssund to Hornsherred is closed to all car traffic due to a major renovation.
We recommend that you set aside a little extra time for the transport so that you arrive at your booking without stress.
